Relief Road

One of the oldest and busiest roads of the glorious city of Ahmedabad, Relief Road is a significant landmark to many commercial business hubs. The road is a platform to various trades ranging from street sellers to wholesalers to head offices of national level companies.

Relief road forms from Kalupur Road to Lal Darwaja by passing vital areas of old city such as Bhadra, Revdi Bazaar, Ratan pol and Zaveriwad. Releif road is an eminent road to reach these oldest markets of the city too.

There are many significant roads that connect the eastern and western part of the city and Relief road is one of these prominent roads. Being a trade centre, it is a daily drive on the relief road for many of working Amdavadi’s.

Relief Cinema, the 60 years old theatre that got shut recently was popular landmark of Relief Road. The road from electricity house to Kalupur railway station has been officially named Lokmanya Tilak Road but it is still known as Relief Road.
